And it proves (again) why targeting your niche beats marketing to “everyone” every single time.

We recently ran two campaigns for a driving school client:
1️⃣ Campaign A – a generic ad targeting everyone
2️⃣ Campaign B – a women-only ad with female-specific creatives. Both campaigns were set up the same way… except for the audience. Here’s what happened:

The “everyone” campaign brought in leads at £1.50
The women-only campaign delivered leads at £1.10

That’s a 26.7% cheaper cost per lead — just by speaking directly to the right audience instead of trying to appeal to everyone. And if both campaigns had £1,000 in ad spend each:

  • At £1.50 CPL, Campaign A would generate around 667 leads

  • At £1.10 CPL, Campaign B would generate around 909 leads

That’s an extra 242 leads purely from niche targeting.
